OCS Databases for Research
Fact Cite
Fact Cite is a great research database offering topics in States, Science, American History, Social Studies, World Mythology, and Biographies.
World Book Encyclopedia is an excellent research database that offers a variety of options. You can go to World Book Kids to research, find activities, play games, and watch educational activities. World Book Student offers more detailed information. You can also read a variety of eBooks and look at Timelines on all kinds of topics.
Ebsco is a database that has a lot of information if you are researching a topic. You can search by topic or keyword. You can also select the type of resource you are looking for as well as changing the lexile level.
Gale In Context: Elementary gives kids a head start by providing young learners with one place to search for answers and explore their interests.
